POP is keeping sync old email to inbox in my iPad
Dear Experts,
Please help, i have problem with my email that it's keeping sync all my old email to my inbox folder by using POP with my iPad, I do not want the old email sync to my iPad but i want to keep it in the server as history backup. Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

IMAP is almost always preferred over POP. Comcast, for instance, was one of the last large email services to add IMAP as an option.

You need to check whether there is any emails which are in your iPad only and not on the server.
You need to setup the same email account in a computer to download all emails first for a backup as you will not lose any data when you play around the email account in your iPad.

IMAP is meant to access a remote MAIL store. so convert to IMAP is the right answer to this question.
