I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Rick,

It depens if the status is a DAG, you should repair index with the following command:

Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy  "DBname\Servername" –CatalogOnly

You will reseed the Search Catalog from another DAG member.

If it is not a DAG, you can apply the following:

1) Stop the “Microsoft Exchange Search service” and “Microsoft Exchange Host Controller.
2)Delete the Existing CI catalog folder
3) Start again the two services.

Cheers
