Locked out of Twitter

Hi, we joined twitter before we had a smartphone, so the phone number on the account is a landline. Now we're locked out, and the only screen says, "Confirm your phone number and we'll send you an SMS message with a code". And they show the landline number.

We have no option to change the phone number, and the only options are "Help" Which is NO help, or log out.

Is there a way we can sneak in and change our phone number? Or is there an actual support email for twitter? Or anything that would actually help instead of being a total pain in the butt? Do you sense my frustration?

:) Thanks for your help in advance.

Twitter has a web page for you to change phone number

https://support.twitter.com/articles/81940#

If that fails because of SMS to the old number then contact Twitter support

I did, and I don't think it will work. I can't stop the phone number via SMS, because it's a landline. And I can't add one, because ALL I see is the page I described, with an option to log out.

So you will need to contact Twitter Support, or, just forgo the Account and set up a new one

Get a cell phone in the same area that has the land line. Now go to the phone company and transfer the land line number to the cell phone. Now the Twitter account can send you SMS messages. That will work.
