sound problem in hp dx2300

once i switch on my pc sound is unavailable,  then i should restart  my pc to get sound..   please give me a perfect solution for this problem ASAP. Thank you.

What I do here is download the newest Audio driver and install it.

Go to Device Manager, Sound and remove the audio driver. Shut down, start up and then install the driver you just downloaded.

That should work.

If you still have problem after doing above suggestion you may need Windows Repair Install with an In-place Upgrade.

It can be also a USER problem, to check it create a new USER account with administrator rights. reboot the PC,  when you prompted for log in select that account and test if sound works fine there.

Also try to open a command prompt as admin and type:
SFC /SCANNOW
then Hit the Enter.

right click the sound icon in the system tray - select playback devices, and check if the proper device is selected - you can test the sound there also
