I want to configure a port on a cisco catalyst 2960 to use a particular vlan without a role.<br />

When I try to do this in the GUI I cannot configure the port vlan without assigning it a role. &nbsp; When I try to de-select a role in the smartports section, it clears my vlan assignment and checks &quot;assign selected role to all ports&quot;. Can someone give me the command line on how to configure the port in a putty session? &nbsp;or, tell me how to configure it in the GUI.
