I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What you are looking for is how to track changes in Word.

If you don't have "Track Changes"  already turned on, you won't be able to see the history as there won't be any.

To turn it on....on the Review tab, in the Tracking group, click on Track Changes.

When it's on, word will mark new changes and if you turn it off, new tracking will halt, but any changes already made will be marked up in the document until you remove them.
