"Contacts" icon missing on iPhone X
The "Contacts" icon is missing on a new iPhone X.
Currently the user has to search for "Contacts" since the contacts icon isn't displayed anywhere on the iPhone X screen.
What needs to be done so that the "Contacts" icon will display on the iPhone X screen?

Found this icon under the "Extras" folder and dragged it back onto the home screen.
Which is exactly what I suggested. Look in other folders. It had to be somewhere as it's impossible to delete the Contacts icon.
You said you looked "everywhere" but then found it in the "Extras" folder. Again...my suggestion exactly.

I then performed the "Reset Home Screen Layout" exactly as described and this hasn't put the Contacts folder back on the Home screen.
what else needs to be done so the Contacts icon will display on the Home screen?
