Compatibility between ARCGIS 10.5.1 and SQL SERVER 2017

Greetings,

I'm installing a server to hold SQL SERVER and ESRI's ARCGIS.

the compatibility page here says SQL SERVER 2016

Since 2016 is not being sold, will 2017 work? or is there compatibility issues?  I assume my GIS person is going to try to use as many services ARCGIS provides: Server, Scene, ArcInfo, etc....

Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have not tried that but it should work as SQL 2016 is supported.

Actually SQL Server 2017 was just releases in October 2017 as far as I know. So looks like the above link is not updated.

Core of SQL 2017 is almost the same like 2016.
There is more addons and some function are enhanced.
I think you'll be OK

What was changed you can check here:
