where can I go online to download Skype?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

I am wondering where I can go online to download the latest Skype.  It will be needed for my laptop which is running Windows 10.

Any online link or links will be deeply appreciated.

                Thank you

                George

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

https://Skype.com - where you'll find the latest version of Skype.

https://go.skype.com/classic.skype - if you prefer the Classic version... which actually works... well... works far better than latest version... IMHO...

Hi George,
Here you go:

My advice...download only from manufacturers' websites...never those file-sharing/conglomeration sites. Regards, Joe

Joe's right on. Didn't even think of that.

Only download Skype from a Skype.com site, to ensure you have a clean (malware free) version.

Many sites offer copies of Skype for download. I would avoid all these.

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

Thank you so much for your prompt replies to my question.  This question is certainly answered now.  The next step here will be to figure out how to configure Skype following installation.  However, I will save this part for a new forthcoming post.
