You need to install Outlook for iOS to do a test.

Try to update to Exchange 2007 SP3 first.

For Gmail, you need Inbox for iOS app and Google Calendar app.

iOS 11 is the problem.

If you want to fix sync problem for calendar with iPhone 7, you need to install the respective app from Google or Microsoft.

Normally, Outlook app for iOS is better in term of compatibility.
