Need to extract emails from a users email in exchange 2013

Hello,
I need to extract a users emails pertaining to a certain subject matter from their exchange 2013 email.
How can I get this information from the exchange database and if I can get it, how would I save the emails so that other people can review them?
This is kind of important so I need to do this as quickly and as easily as possible.

You will need to use the Exchange console to execute a search for the content you are trying to find, then delete it using the -deletecontent parameter.

Examples provided in technet article above.

You can do an e-discovery for exchange 2013 and save the results to a .pst.

Your best bet is to use the search-mailbox command. You can run it against all mailboxes by doing a get-mailbox and piping it to the command like so:
Get-Mailbox | Search-Mailbox -SearchQuery 'keywork' -TargetMailbox "Discovery Search Mailbox" -TargetFolder "Folder in mailbox to copy to" -LogLevel Full.
You can also use the In-place Discovery and hold function in the ECP under Compliance management

You can search and save subject matter from their exchange 2013 email to PST by using Stellar EDB to PST Converter. You can search and save for particular emails based on different criteria like ‘To’, ‘From’, ‘Cc’, ‘Subject’, ‘Body’,etc. For more information about the software, please check this link: https://www.stellarinfo.com/email-repair/edb-pst-converter.php

Hi Vmich,

You can use EmailDoctor Exchange Recovery Tool to achieve your purpose. It will extract data from Exchange Private & Public Folders (Priv.edb, Pub.edb) & STM Files.

1. Run the Exchange Recovery Software & "Add File" button to select single or multiple dismounted exchange mailbox files to be extracted.

2. You can preview all the mailboxes in an EDB file.

3. Select the Export Button to migrate all selected emails.

4. After Selecting Export Option Select from with multiple export choices such as Export As PST/ MSG/ EML/ PDF/ HTML/ Live Exchange.  Software allows you to check / uncheck desired mailboxes or any internal folder that you need to export. You just need to opt category section.

Hope it might help you!!
Cheers!!
