I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There are N number of reporting tools present in the market BUT hot are --> TABLEAU,QLIK VIEW,SSRS,POWERBI,WEBFOCUS etc....  Now a days Tableau is hot as per the magic quadrant by GARTNER. https://www.tableau.com/resource/2017-gartner-magic-quadrant

For feature differences please refer -

You also need to consider other excellent reporting tools like SSRS AND MICROSOFT POWERBI. I have worked extensively on these two. They are amazing.

You may also need to compare Microsoft's SSRS with TABLEAU

You may also need to compare Microsoft's POWERBI with TABLEAU

I think this is a case of what your requirements are.  There are lots of BI tools.  I have used Qlikview extensively and found it fast, flexible and more intuitive than others I tried.

Will you be the one generating reports or someone else?
Do you need to have your staff interrogate the data or just be shown reports?
How easily does the tool integrate with your data(base)?

There is also a range of pricing for these products so one may just fit because it is financially more viable.

They're just a few of the questions I went through when deciding a BI tool.
