thunderbird context menu

is there any way i can edit the context menu in T-bird ?
i want to hide the "conversation" and "open file in new tab" sections
but others can be useful too

No...or, at least, not that I'm aware of. If it stored the context menu items in the regsitry, there would be hope for changing them, but on my system, a registry search for "message in conversation" (part of "bericht openen in conversatie" in your Dutch menu) comes up empty. So, it's almost surely the case that the TBird program is putting out that menu from internal code/data and, AFAIK, TBird provides no option to customize that menu. Not what you wanted to hear, but I'm pretty sure that you'll have to live with it as is. Cheers, Joe
