Remove unsuccessful uninstall ofr apps in Windows 10 Pro
We have uninstalled a series of apps and 2 apps, Comodo and Sql2016 didn't uninstall completely. We use iObit Uninstaller and clicked all apps that we wanted to uninstalled, including the 2 that wasn't successful done.
Sql2016 is no longer in the Add/Remove programs but services are still active (How do we remove or uninstall these SQL 2016 services?).
Also, when we try uninstall individually Comodo, we can't, we get this message:
How do we remove or uninstall partial Comodo?)

If the service is still running, you can usually find it. Run Regedit and then look under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services
If you find the service listed there, you can just delete it and that should take care of it.
There may also be copies in ControlSet001 or ControlSet002.

Revo uninstall did remove all (but rereading your entry said "hunter mode"?? Should we do something else?)
Question, after uninstall all Comodo and Sql (even though it wasn't in add/remove, Revo did detected installed), I noticed that there are SQL in other places:
Services in Task manager:
Services:
Sql Server Configuration Manager:
is this normal to be present after an uninstall?
Should we uninstall or remove them? How?

We wanted to install the latest version sql 2017.
So leave those services in their place and proceed to install awl 2017? Or it has to be sal 2016?

Yes, leave those services.
If you have access to SQL 2016 installation media please try it.
Different versions may have different installations.

if you don't want to install and uninstall SQL 2016 then your answer is yes you have to stop those Services before installing SQL 2017.

You're welcome and I'm glad we could help.
If you have access to the original MSI files you can use MSIExec /uninstall package.msi to remove it.
e.g.
msiexec /uninstall d:\x64\setup\sql_engine_co
