In oracle sql developer in connection pane if I expand the instance by clicking the plus symbol it does not load the list of tables views , stored procedures etc. this is for only one DB I have 4 others dbs running in the server where I can get the objects listed in the pane instantly
Geert GOracle dbaCommented:
is it a different version ?
AbhiJeetAuthor Commented:
Same version of sql developer
Geert GOracle dbaCommented:
database version ...

gather dictionary statistics on that slow instance.
exec dbms_stats.gather_dictionary_stats

Open in new window

might also have to gather stats on fixed objects:
exec dbms_stats.gather_fixed_objects_stats

Open in new window

do you use the recyclebin ?
empty it
purge dba_recyclebin;

Open in new window
