Megasr1 event 129 leading to server hang

I have a Server 2012 that hangs after seeing a series of megasr1 event ID 129 warnings.  The only way to restore function is to power cycle the server.

Here is the exact eror:
Log Name:      System
Source:        megasr1
Date:          12/7/2017 7:15:28 AM
Event ID:      129
Task Category: None
Level:         Warning
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:     SERVER1.domain.local
Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued.
Event Xml:
<Event xmlns="">
    <Provider Name="megasr1" />
    <EventID Qualifiers="32772">129</EventID>
    <TimeCreated SystemTime="2017-12-07T12:15:28.067812200Z" />
    <Security />

There are other warnings, such as 260 that happen on rare occasions.

Any ideas?

Who is Participating?

Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1 does not imply drive on channel 1, just raid card 1. Windows is getting annoyed that the card took too long to return data from a request so it resets the card.

Do you have the latest drivers installed? Is there 3rd party monitoring software installed, that can sometimes cause this event.

that is your megaraid card driver.  What raid level have you setup and are you using enterprise drives? Using your raid utility any drives showing as failed or failing?
laltobelliIT ConsultantAuthor Commented:
I'm using RAID 1 SSD Enterprise drives.  No Drives are showing as failing.  No errors in the UI.  I replaced and then removed the drive on Port 1, I am suspecting that the card is failing...

The failure use to happen once every couple months, it's now failing every few days.

Drivers were at rev 17, updating to 18.  May take a couple of days to determined if it fixes the issue.
There appears to be no other monitoring software installed.
laltobelliIT ConsultantAuthor Commented:
No more failures, looks like the latest drivers have resolved the issue.
