I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, It usually has a fixed size (every log), so the time will be set by how many events are generated daily in each category.

you can use this:
https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/Get-event-logs-errors-and-6871f163?redir=0
and use the option -days 1850 (this will query the last 5 years of the log) obviously it won't be there all the 5 years just to check the oldest registry on Application, system and optionally in the  security log, this last take more time to be queried.
