Simple stuff first, would the results of the query overwrite an existing set of data, or table either to the right or below the data insertion point?

Yes it would overwrite existing data, it will always be the same number of columns but the number of rows will vary.  I wanted to insert it at the same specific cell each time, showing 5 columns to the right of the insertion point and various rows below.
Sorry - meant to say if it was to overwrite data in a different table. The query should be ok to refresh data in the existing dataset.
LillyCDatabase DeveloperAuthor Commented:
Yes I thought it would be ok too. The problem is I have Excel 2013 and it works fine, but when I log onto my clients 2016 version it doesn't work.  I get the 'Query results cannot overlap a table or XML mapping' error message .
I'm guessing here, but have you tried importing your data into a new worksheet? I've seen occasions in the past where although a table or named range has been deleted, Excel still thinks its there and won't overwrite it.
