Word (Mac): Converting all images to JPG

Word (Mac) 2017:

I find the PDF I create is huge and suspect not all images are JPG.

How can I convert them the easiest? One problem, Word has lots of images tools but the filename and file type seem to have been lost on import.

Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In Windows you can change the file extension from ,docx to ,zip. If the file is then unzipped, you will see the image files with their original extensions and sizes in the 'media' subfolder, though the full names will not be there.

Brilliant!

I opened it (on a Mac) with WinZip and see numerous PNG files.

Thanks!
