Dream Weaver isn't really a SQL client, so unclear how to respond.

Describe what you're trying to do + the exact error message emitted.

ok, I posted the error previously.  I guess not everybody sees it.    I took it to Best Buy, and they suggested I get back in touch with Adobe.  I did ask adobe, and they said my driver was fine, and to check with DMXzone.  DMXzone said it was my driver.  I do not know.

What I do is this:

I click on the necessary tabs in ServerConnect extension in Dreamweaver cc 2018.  Then when I get to Database Connection extension, I fill in the slots.  When I click on "test", it shows it cannot find the driver.

As per your last comment, I will guess that you didn't install a SQL Server client. Without that you can't connect to a SQL Server database.

Yes, I looked.  I have SQL Server Native Client 11.0   hmm.  I guess it might be something simple I'm doing wrong.  Thanks for helping!

Can you check in Dreamweaver configuration what's the connection string looks like?

I have an extension Database Connection from DMXzone.  On this, I click on SQL Server, or SQL Server Native.

Server Address: "cchexolr"
Database: sb1849

ok, I chatted with a techie.  He suggested it was an old driver.  Any suggestions on a good product to update drivers?
