exchange 2010, storage

we are moving 3 par storage to move from its current floor space to make room for further servers.

but we are hosting CAS hub and mailbox exchange servers on cluster on that array

we need to shut down array and move to new place and then power on

before the array is moved, we need to shut down 2010 exchange servers which are also dag servers.

so we can directly shut down CAS , HUB servers but on mailbox server, we need to suspend mailbox database copy

can you please help me with the exact command I will be using to suspend and thereafter resume when storage array is up.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Simply stopping the services is usually sufficient for short-term operations such as what you've described.

Nevertheless:
To suspend replication for an Exchange 2010/2013 database copy, do the following:

To stop a database copy:
Suspend-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity databaseName

To Verify that a database copy has been suspended:
Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus -Identity databaseName\Server

To resume a database copy:
Resume-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity databaseName\Server
