I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

can you try by removing the battery for 5 min and start?

RaminTechnical AdvisorCommented:
Please Turn off / Disable the Secure Boot from BIOS and also Try legacy Boot option (BIOS),  to see if you are then able to boot the PC.

(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal

If not already, try a full factory reset, this should rule out software issue with the unit.

If the issue persists after this, then it would indicate that the unit is facing hardware issues.

Try the following...

1. Power off the laptop.
2. Power on the laptop.
3. As soon as you see the rotating loading circle, press and hold the Power Button until the computer shuts off.
4. Repeat this process a few times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen.
5. Now you want to let the laptop boot to the "Automatic Repair" screen.
6. Click "Advanced Options" and then select "Troubleshoot".
7. Here you want to select "Refresh your PC", if you do not wish to erase data, or "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.
8. From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.

NOTE: You will need to get into the "Advanced Options" in order to get the "Refresh Option". This choice will keep your data, but any programs installed will be lost.

Do not do a "Reset" as that will wipe all data you have on the laptop.

IF this doesn't help, you may want to contact the manufacturer, as it is very new machine.

Restore to Factory Contents
Boot the system to the predesktop area, either via F11, ThinkVantage button or Rescue CD.
Once in the predesktop area, hold down the shift, ctrl and alt keys and click Restart. A command prompt window will appear.
At the prompt, type "Regedit" and press Enter to bring up the Registry Editor.
Browse to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\TVT Common\SystemType
For Think systems:set this key to 0.
For Lenovo 3000 and IdeaPad systems, set this key to 1.
Close the Registry Editor and type "exit" at the command prompt to close the window.
Click "Restore My System."
The "Restore to Factory Contents" option will now appear.
