Excel date problem

Can anyone help please on converting a date of 30/01/1900 if the cell is blank.  I want to add 30 days or 60 days to an appointment from a procedure date but the procedure date has not always been entered.  For example if I did A2+30 and A2 is blank then I get 30/01/1900.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

assumes date is in a1. Adds 30 days if it exists

=if(a1="","No Date Entered",a1+30)
