removing office 2010 plus

I have gone to the control panel and tried to remove office. It keeps telling me that it could not remove all and when I try to install a new office it fails? Is there something out there that will totally remove this application?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try this link to uninstall office first. Try Option 2 - Completely uninstall Office 2016 with the easy fix tool.

Have you tried the Office uninstall tool?

That is supposed to remove every trace of Office.  If this is a POP email, make sure you backup the pst before doing this.

Both gurus were right. This removed all traces of office and I did install the new office.
