How to permit an application

How to allow an application to run without having to always enter an administrative password? I have an application while running it always asking my admin credentials to stop that on local machine.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Find the location of the program and right click it, then enter its properties. Inside of there, choose the compatibility tab. Toward the bottom, there is a check box "Run this program as an administrator" and you can check or un-check that depending on your desired outcome. If it is checked, it will ask for an administrator account credentials if you are not logged in as a local administrator. See image below.

I'd suggest to use Task Scheduler that is more secure than creating a shortcut!
