Shared Drive, User unable to see shared files

Hi,

We have a user who is unable to see few shared files.

I have checked Sync option, Sync option is totally greyed out when clicked on manage offline files.

Not too sure what this could be.

Any golden piece of advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Try a disconnecting from network and can you see them on the computer.
Are the files actually available offline ?
Please describe how the user is mapping the shared folder.

When they map a drive (NET USE) what error do you get?  Please post it.

okay, would that make a difference tho.

Its a team of 5, File has been shared by User A. User. B, C, D can see the file but user E cannot see that file.
We need to see the error number in order to assist.
Drive is mapped successfully, and there are other shared folders and documents in it.

A new document is added to the folder within the shared drive, but that document cannot be seen by one user, all other users can see it.
Is the file hidden ?
@John Hurts, there is no error message.

User is just unable to see the shared file, a shared folder.
Thanks for the update. Check the server / workstation permissions by user to the folder.
@zaheeriqbal, no file is not hidden because other users in team can see that file.

Only one USER is unable to see the shared file.
Is the shared drive on the server and can you as an admin see the file too ?
Can you get the user that has the issue to logon to the user that can see the files machine and see if the issue follows ?
Shared drive is on the server, and admin can see the file.

Ok, will get the user to do so..

@Johnhurts thanks, will try that.
If the user has enabled offline files on that location then you can delete the database on the computer

Also make sure the NIC connection is Private not Public and that Network Discovery and File and print sharing are ON.
Ok thanks for all your support. Issue is now resolved. User had a shortcut folder, which was not updating, issue is now resolved.
Thank you for the update and I was happy to help.
