Outlook Mobile App - Connect to Exchange 2016 ActiveSync On Prem

Quick question...is it possible to connect the Outlook mobile app to an Exchange 2016 ActiveSync On Prem environment (no office 365 in place)?

Yes. You just need to have autodiscover setup on your external domain. Pretty much if you can get to owa outside of the network you should be able to get active sync connected. If not run the exchange connectivity test on microsoft's site and identify port/setting that needs to be corrected. But to answer your question...yes you can.
