How to fix Exchange 2010 searching

Users cannot search emails in Outlook.  Or it is incredibly slow.  Tried resetting indexer on exchange already but does nothing.

Check your windows updates and monthly rollouts. There was and known issue with Windows updates this year (I think in June-July) and MS fixed the problem 3 days later.  Go to this link and update your PC:

are the users using cached exchange mode?

Odds are you need to enable indexing on the local machine or rebuild the index database in outlook.
I assume this problem is solved because the owner didn't come back with a comment.
