How to go back to Windows 10 1703 from Windows 10 1709?
Due to some software compatibility issues, we need to go back to a previous version of Windows 10 on a few computers. How can I uninstall the Windows 10 1709 update and use the Windows 10 1703 update until we get the software compatibility issues resolved?

It has been over 30 days since the update was installed. The update was installed on November 7th. The software stops working and according to the software company it is due to this update. There is no way to roll back after the 30 day period?
There is no way to roll back after 30 days. What does the software company intend to do about the issue. They do have to fix it.
Is it possible to say what kind of error? Sometimes Chipset and Video driver upgrades can fix things.

The software company is arranging an upgrade for us, but that will be sometime in the future. We wanted to roll back as a temporary fix until we had the upgraded software. The software displays an it has stopped working error and closes. It is isolated to Windows 10 systems with the 1709 upgrade.

Having opened the Settings panel, click on Update and security and here select Recovery settings.
Next click on the Get started button under Go back to an earlier build section.
The process will start, and you will be asked some questions for information purposes, as to why you are going back to the previous build of Windows 10.
