Which is the best way to learn MySQL?

I want to learn about MySQL, I'm a beginner. Which is the best materials can I use and where can I get them.

All the above resources are great.

Start with a local or net instance of MySQL (or better MariaDB) + just go through these courses.

Then create a project for yourself, like a complex WordPress plugin which does something highly useful + coding your design.

Reach out to EE or WordPress forums as you require assistance.

David's comment is especially helpful as he recommended that the OP install a database and work with it directly alongside the independent study of MySQL/or equivalent. This hands-on approach seems the most optimal and therefore gets my vote as the best solution. Split to other participating experts.
