Crystal Password

We are on Crystal reports 2008 on BO 4.1
We have a number of crystal reports, driven off of stored, each of these reports have separate database credentials to maintain.
We have a password change coming up for the database.
My question is: when we change the password in the database configuration, do we need to reschedule the existing recurring instance, or would it not be necessary?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You will have to update the password for ach report through the CMC.  I don't believe you will need to reschedule unless you set the password in the scheduling.

This is one reason why for our clients w recommend using a service account that doesn't require a password change.

But it turned out that after the password change, the existing scheduled instance needed to be deleted and a new one created. That's what we ended up doing.
