windows 2008 server Join client to the domain remotely

How can a computer be joined to the domain remotely.  Remote Desktop is not working for this computer.

Try a client management software which helps you to manage servers, desktops, laptops from one location. You can remotely add, remove, or modify client details using this solution.

Few options: Symantec, Desktop Central, SCCM are good options.

Get remote control software and join it that way.  You NEED admin rights to the machine *AND* firewall ports to be open.  If they are, you can do anything... turn on RDP, join a domain, whatever... if you don't have either of those things, you can't.  And you've really given us minimal information.

I would have thought if it's not on the domain it won't have a DNS record, so you'd need to use something like winVNC to remote straight onto the IP.

Although, you'd need someone to log onto the machine to get the IP address in the first place unless you can go onto the switch to get it that way.
