Unable to add Microsoft Surface Book 2 with Win 10 Pro to AD domain

A user just received a Surface Book 2 with Windows 10 Pro on it.

He setup the Surface Book 2 with an email logon account. This laptop also has all Windows 10 updates installed.

Now when I try to add this Surface Book 2 to our Server 2016 AD domain I receive the errors shown in the screenshots "Your computer could not be joined to the domain because the following error has occurred: This device is joined to azure ad. to join an Active Directory domain, you must first go to settings and choose to disconnect your device from your work or school" (see the screenshot).

I Googled this and then went to the location whee I should be able to remove this machine from this domain (within Settings, Home, About) but I don't see the option to remove this PC from Azure (see the screenshot).

So how can I remove this laptop from Azure and add it to a Windows 10 Pro AD domain?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When you set up the computer with "an email account" you joined it to Azure AD. Thus is expected and is not unique to the surface or newest builds of Win10.

Go to system  accounts, work and school. That's where you control Azure AD.

Where exactly can I find "System  accounts, work and school."

I looked for and searched all over for this but was unable to find it (including while I was logged onto the Surface with the user's email administrator account).

System settings app. Account screen. Work and school tab on the left.
