Iphone EAS Read Only Contacts

Im working a situation that requires users to have two Exchange Accounts on their iphone. One account is there user account (email, contacts, calnedar, notes), the other would be a shared account that is used for Contacts only.

My question: Is there a way to make this shared account READ ONLY. If i set the permissions on the contacts within exchange, will EAS on the iphone follow suit and force the READ ONLY? We don't want the users having the ability to write to these shared contacts from their phones and mess up the shared contacts that is being synced/distributed to all the employees who have access to this shared account.

Thoughts?
