These are the instructions to work-around the issue however, my properties does not display compatibility mode, where is it?:
We are still investigating the root cause to this issue, but we have found the following workaround to run the installation in compatibility mode for Windows 8 to be successful.
To turn on compatibility mode for Windows 8
Right Click on the Setup.exe file for TurboTax
Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Set to Windows 8
Click Apply and OK
Start the 2017 TurboTax installation
