vSphere Web Client - How To Turn Off Snapshots?

Have a server that's running vSphere Web Client v6.5 to manage 4 vm's. It's creating snapshots at 12pm and 7pm everyday which is causing the vm's to freeze for a minute or so while those snapshots are being created. Looking for advice on how to turn off snapshots completely or adjust the schedule of them outside of business hours.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What is creating the snapshots ?

VMs don't just create snapshots by themselves, and if you turn off snapshots which you can do, your backups are likely to fail...because that is how a VM is backed-up!

Are we also deleting those snapshots or continue to take it ?. As long its  a snapshot chain it will be going to slow down the VM performance.

Did we checked any disk performance issue we are facing ?

You're correct Andrew, completely overlooked the VM backup from Altaro which was happening at 12pm and 7pm. Thanks for the response.
