Uber no show

I have the uber app on my iPhone 6. At about 4:40 pm, I contacted uber for a ride. It kept saying 8 min, then once it showed a moving vehicle and got down to 5. Then back up to 8 mins. At 5:30, 40 minutes after first contact, my girlfriend left & drove herself, about 25 mi. I knew we would be drinking wine, that is why I INSISTED on uber. But her head was set, she went anyway, I HOPE she makes it back ok.

I've tried to find out how to complain about a 40 minute no-show. Of course I recognize they don' even want to address this kind of thing.

Pretty sure I'm done with uber, too bad, they were good in prior useage, arrival timing not precise, but not far off.

Of course no way in this internet world to complain.

Any ideas?

Probably just drop it & do lyft.

Really all you can do is complain to Uber. Be specific as above (even more so)

Where are you located?

And your GF driving is a while other issue.  You should have taken her keys away or call a taxi.

But as for Uber, if there are no Ubers in the area, there is nothing you can do.  Or if some cancelled your ride, how busy of an area were you? And was this 4:40PM or AM?

I had an issue with Lyft once, where it was taking over 30 minutes and still no driver responding.  Finally after 40 minutes I got a ride but it was a close call.  I was in the process of downloading the Uber app.

For future, maybe have both apps on your phone to use, especially if you frequently use it for going out while drinking.

Here, sign in with your account and you should be able to send them a note or help ticket....

There is no way I can figure out from the links provided how to report my issue.

As has become standard on the web, you cannot describe YOUR situation, you just have to pick one of their options, none of which is applicable in my situation.

Sad, clearly they do not want "bad news".

40 minutes & no vehicle is NOT ACCEPTABLE, even at 4:30 PM, especially on a Tuesday.

So, when you hit the little drop down in the upper left hand corner of the rider app, and hit the 3rd listing down, what happened?

Why didn't you call or ask them what was up?  At 4:30 in escondido it could take that long to cross town and maybe they gave up.

Also, stuff happens.  They get into accidents, get pulled over, or have personal emergencies that prevents them from showing up.
