Exchange 2013 Issues / Setup ?

I have an exchange 2013 box that is running perfectly without any problem.

I also have an mDaemon box that is managing another domain - on a separate Box.

I am trying to setup my mDaemon mailbox to send emails using the SMTP of my exchange box. but it is not working no matter what I try.
Care to help me out ?

PS: The purpose of the operation is to have only 1 gateway to send emails and not 2.

Eventually, I will add the mDaemon domain to my exchange but for now I don't have the green (administrative) go !

Please refer this article to create relay connector:

at step 5 you need to add mDaemon server ip such that exchange will allow mail routing though it.
I don't know anything about mDeamon, but if you would like to route e-mails over exchange than you should create open relay connection for your mDeamon server IP with no authentication (anonymous). Lock the relay to your the server IP, because if you leave it open for the world you will be immediately blacklisted and your public IP will be blocked for sending e-mails.

You will need to add the IP address of mdaemon in you Exchange Relay Connector.
