Destination host is unreachable while bing

Every device that is controlled by a computer or sends files to external storage use some connector. It can be RJ45, RS232, Bluetooth, wifi, Parallel port, some dedicated PCI or PCIe card, firewire.... You have to find it on the biometric device itself.
Besides that, you need drivers and software for communication between the instrument and the PC. Those instructions you can get from the supplier or vendor. If you will add more details about instrument make and model I can take a look and could give you some advice.

Timewatch biometric device model bio1 c301, I have a software to connect biometric device and computer.The name of the software is Timewatch. When I connect it show the result as Unable to connect 192.168.1.225

How do you know if this is IP for this device ?
How did you assigned it.
Did you fallow instruction about how to configure TimeWatch software ?

All manuals I was able to find said that device IP should be 192.168.1.226, you're try to connect using 192.168.1.225
