SSL Cert/Domain Login
Hello,
We are trying to find out if there are any circumstances whereby a login to a domain server requires an SSL certificate? If so, how can that certificate be identified, given there are multiple SSL certificates installed on this particular domain server?
Thank you for any assistance

That said, these days, every service I setup for any client site I host is SSL wrapped.
https://LetsEncrypt.org has provided free certs for years, so best SSL wrap all services which understand SSL.
A domain server (if you're talking about bind/named/nsd/etc) understands SSL, because DNS isn't a protocol which requires securing.
You'd use SSL or SSH to access your zone files + restart your domain server + the actual DNS protocol will be unencrypted.
If I've misunderstood your question, add some clarification about what domain server might mean.
