When installing Java unable to see it installing.

Weird one for you. Normally when I download Java from the website and install it I would get the prompts to accept the license and continue with the install. On this one machine I run the install and I do not see anything, not even a pop up that its installing. The weird thing is it installs. Any ideas on this one??

You should get Java from java.com and not another website. When that installs, we DO see it installing. It should also ask to verify. If not doing these things, you may not have a good version.

Uninstall, download jre-8u151-windows-i586 full (not stub) from java.com, restart, and install the full version. You should see it install

I did... that's where I download it from. I got the online version and the offline version. Neither displayed when installing.

Try running SFC /SCANNOW from an Admin command prompt and allow to complete. Does the find errors?

I have 3 Windows 10 machines here and a Windows 7 virtual machine  and they all show the install happening.
