Veeam quick migration - target VM NICs 'assoication'

I'm thinking of using Veeam Quick Migration to migrate VM's from one ESXi host to another (not licensed for vmotion).

The source Host has 4 NICs,  and some of the source VM's use  different NICs. The target host has 6 NICs.

While I have configured networking on the target host identically 'as possible' to the source (Ie same NIC device name,  Standard Switch name &  physical NIC numbers) how does Veeam know which NICs to assign to each VM/OS ?

Or is this something that  will need to be done manually?

It does assume that network labels are the same on virtual machine portgroups, if they are different

Change it manually after the migration.

If the port goups names are the same on both ESXi hosts you should be fine and quick migration should finish without any problems.
