SharePoint Alert - Database 'Master' on SQL Server instance 'xxxxxxx' is not empty and does not match current database schema.

My ULS logs show a SharePoint health alert:
"Database 'Master' on SQL Server instance 'xxxxxxx' is not empty and does not match current database schema."

In general I know that this is regarding patch level, but I'm not sure why this would be showing for the master database.

Get-SPDatabase shows all of the expected content/application databases and of course master is not listed and I wouldn't expect it to be listed.

Check in Central Administration, under Upgrade and Migration --> check upgrade status

If the status shows "Database is in compatibility range and upgrade is recommended", the following command should help:

C:
cd \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\16\BIN\"
psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -force

Hope that helps...
