"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check the following settings:

1. Paper type. Specifically, does the printer think you are printing on letterhead?
2. Is the printer set for duplexing (double sided printing)?

Duplexing causes the second page to be printed first (in most cases even if there is no second page), giving the page the wrong orientation.

Check the driver settings as well as the printer settings (from its front panel menu or from its web page). Word stores paper settings with the document so, if printing from Word, check the settings in the Print dialogue box, and also click on the Page Setup ink in that dialogue.

For eg when printing from an email in Outlook with wordings and image, those with wordings will print out fine, those with images will print upside down.
Printing single side or double side same issue
Is there the option to attach images from experts exchange app? Can only attach the images when later has access to computer

Try the following:

1. Clear the print spooler

Right-click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator“.
Type net stop spooler then press “Enter“.
Type del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q then press “Enter“.
Type net start spooler then press “Enter“.
The print queue on your Windows should now be cleared.

2. Remove the printer from Devices and Printers.

3. Go to Printer Server Management, Drivers tab and remove the Driver.

4. Uninstall any printer applications from Programs and Features.

5. Restart and install the newest driver again.

See if that helps.

download the latest driver (HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (32-bit),      15.9 MB      Sep 26, 2017)
from https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-p2055-printer-series/3662052/model/3662055.
and still encounter the same issue.. attached is the images how it should be and currently the printout issue

Did you try steps I outlined in order?   Try the complete package and not the universal driver. Uninstall the universal printer and delete the driver and restart before installing the full package. Use the 64-bit package.

Hi John, can only test when next on site. think this model does not have the complete package, only the universal driver. windows is a 32 bit
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
Let us know. There are not many 32-bit operating systems left. I have not seen one since 2008
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
Also remember that the HP2055 may not be able to print properly in a system with very limited memory.

Printing etc is working fine before the recent win 10 updates.. the machine has no issues to print the same images to other printers models. same issue for other machines when printing to this Hp2055d.. printing words or text documents is ok just that when it comes to image is reversed
not sure which is the correct printer driver, looks like the latest driver is not resolving
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
Try the full 32-bit package instead of the universal package
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
From the page in your post above, make sure you pull the selection down for Windows 32-bit because 64-bit is default. Try this driver:

when reinstalling the driver, use the one recommended by windows and the either of the 2 drivers below works..
HP LaserJet P205X series PCL6 class driver
HP Laserjet P2050 series PCL6

if use the latest driver from HP website, somehow it gives some issues.
