IE 11 crashes as soon as I open it.

All, IE 11 crashes as soon as I open it. The first thing I did was create a new local user profile and that did not work. I can run in safe mode but cannot figure out what the issue is, meaning what add-in is causing the problem.

You may have to elect the reimage if nothing above works.

Open Control Panel, Programs and Features, Windows Features and uncheck IE. Restart (you must).
Go back and enable IE. Restart (you must).

Now go to Control Panel, Internet Options and do a Full IE Reset. This removes forms and passwords.

Restart and now, can you open IE?  Once open, remove Add-ins and check one by one.

Thanks for the update and you also tried a new Windows Profile.

Try System File Checker. Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW. Allow to complete and restart.

If that fails, you may need to try a Windows 7 Repair Install. You need the Windows 7 DVD or a working recovery partition.

We do not do the repairs, the Field Techs just reimage. I will go over my notes and make sure I did all your suggestions. I may have missed one from the last comment now that I read it again.

John, I did a full reset and still have the issue. The weird thing is if I click ok on all the pop up errors, then tell it go to the previous page it works.

I think you are going to have to do the Windows 7 Repair. Read through the Tutorial carefully.

I logon with my admin account IE opens fine. UGH!!!  I am running the scan now, lets see if that finds anything.

If that is the case, perhaps back up your Windows Profile (the documents, email and favourites in it), delete it and make an new profile.

By the way, a Repair Install will not fix a damaged profile so don't go there.

John, funny thing happened, I got another ticket and the solutions you provided fixed that one. Unfortunately this machine I just found out has a bad image on it. So I am sending it off for a new image. Thanks for the help! :)
