I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here is an example:

robocopy E:\bin\SQL\Databases\2012 "H:\Program Files\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Data" /Z

robocopy c:\src d:\dst /XF test.mdf /Z /MT:32 /R:1 /W:5 /copyall

This runs 32 threads to copy, and performs a single retry after 5 seconds if a file cannot be copied (e.g. is in use). No subfolders are considered for the copy.
