How to add a new Windows 10 Pro laptop to a Windows Domain?

A new laptop with Windows 10 Pro was purchased and I have installed Window Updates; but, I do to see where I can add this new laptop to our Actiove Directory Domain, from the laptop itslef.

I do not see any option in the 'System' - 'About' sections as the following web site suggests: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/join-a-windows-10-client-domain/

I am logged on locally with an outlook.com email (Microsoft account) just to install the office and other basic applications (Windows updates, Anti-Virus).

Question:  How may I add this Windows 10 Profssional laptop to the Active Directory Domain?

The new laptop is connected to the company network.  It has an IP address that is on the company LAN.

Does it have a DNS server set to the company network as well? If it is pointing elsewhere, it won't be able to find the domain to join it.

This can also happen if you are not logged in as a local administrator account.

Lastly, you can go the "old way", Start File Explorer, right click on "This PC" and choose properties. There are domain and computer name settings there as well.

Actually, there is another way.  The old way, to be precise.

I had the exact same problem, but after navigating to the System applet from Control Panel, I was able to join our Domain the old fashioned way.

For some reason, the option just doesn't appear going through the Win10 Settings Menu in the Fall Creators 1709 Build.

If you navigate to the control panel and click on the 'system' icon then the change Workgroup/Domain button appears.

That actually worked.
Glad to hear that you found confirmation of the suggestions made by myself and CompProbSolv. If the problem is solved, please be sure to recognize the efforts of the volunteer Experts and help other people with the same question as you by marking the comments that helped you.

I did not see the comment by: CompProbSolv

I will try to re-adjust the points to include him.
