someone mentioned on the web to look at unbuntu.info, but I have no idea where to find it

I am using a command line with SSH and have almost 0 experience with linux.  I am more than competent with windows machines

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

R u able to open http://archive.ubuntu.com and see vivid/main folder
rg20Author Commented:
I can open it, I don't see it directly under that, but I do see a list of "Vivid" names under indices.

I did check that, but I am not sure why it wouldn't exist or where I would get it from

I would also need to  update some file to permanently point it to the correct location, but I am not sure which file would control that

Please close question, this is not getting me where I need to be.  I will rephrase it better
