Best whole hard drive encryption program for Win 10

What is the best whole hard drive encryption program for Windows 10?

Would this be Symantec PGP or are their better alternatives?

To the best of my knowledge bitlocker has not been compromised yet.  ALL DATA WILL BE COMPROMISABLE.  Just because the technology of today isn't fast enough to crack today's encryption, the technology of tomorrow will be.  Maybe in 5 years.  Maybe 10, Maybe 25, Maybe 50.  But since things like social security numbers don't change, anyone who can get yesterday's encrypted files can potentially get valuable information.

That said, who will be compromised first?  BitLocker, Symantec, DriveLock, etc?  Who knows.  In most cases, the differentiators are ease of deployment and added features such as encrypting external storage.  The biggest problem with BitLocker today is you need Pro or better to get it, it's not available on Home.

Bitlocker is fine.

Are the third party whole hard drive encryption programs other than Bit Locker any better and justified for their more expensive costs?

Managing Security Policy in a Changing Environment

The enterprise network environment is evolving rapidly as companies extend their physical data centers to embrace cloud computing and software-defined networking. This new reality means that the challenge of managing the security policy is much more dynamic and complex.

Whole Drive Encryption is whole drive encryption. For a single system Bitlocker will work as well as every other solution available. As was mentioned by Lee, it requires a Pro or Enterprise edition of Windows 10 to function, but once it's set up, it operates very seemlessly and will encrypt the drive just as well as every other product.

Lee's notes on data cracking are very valid points to consider, but it's important to note that all WDE solutions will utilize some form of a publicly available encryption suite (Usually AES or better. Almost every other algorithm has been cracked already), and attackers will usually attack the encryption algorithm rather than attacking the software that provides WDE.

Once Quantum computers become a reality, though, AES and similar encryption standards will start falling apart and will need to be replaced with something that is less prone to attacks by a quantum computer.

I have been using Bestcrypt for many years now.
It's reasonably priced and support is good.

The code is open source so you can be sure the ns  a  have not got their mits into it.
There are just too many features to list.
