outlook 2013 and 2016 64 and 32 bit taking time to connect Exchange 2016 Mailbox

Hi there,

During configuration of outlook profiles on both version outlook 2013 & 2016 64 and 32 bit taking a lot of time to connect the Exchange 2016 Mailbox.

P.S : Recently all the users have been assigned new PCs and old PCs new profile, while trying to configure taking a lot of time for new outlook.

Please suggest me to troubleshoot further on this.

had you able to configure outlook profiles before assigning old user profiles to new computers?

If not, some problem exists with exchange config, in that case check autodiscover if works correctly
use below tool and check if autodiscover is configured correctly
https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/

if earlier everything is fine, something wrong with migrated user profile
try to create vanilla profile and see if issue persists
OR
try to reinstall outlook and check on problematic PCs

Does this mean new (Windows) Profiles or new Computers fixed the issue?   If so, Windows profiles on the problem computers have been damaged and need to be replaced.

There is no practical way I have ever heard of to fix a Windows Profile, so you must delete them and re-create them.

Reinstalled the outlook 2013 and 2016 clients fixed the issue. that did the trick.
